$400,000 On The Line
The PFL Europe 2024 Championships draws to a close this Saturday with four divisional winners set to be crowned PFL Europe Champions and pocket a cool $100,000 (USD) each in prize money.
The event goes down in Lyon, France and will be headlined by a fascinating matchup between one of the company’s biggest French stars Abdoul Abdouraguimov and UFC veteran Laureano Staropoli.
With the finals of the bantamweight, lightweight, welterweight and women’s flyweight tournaments filling out the card, there should be no shortage of excitement during the promotion’s final event of 2024.
With a sell-out crowd of 10,000 screaming French MMA fans in attendance, the LDLC Arena will be the place to be this weekend.

Abdoul Abdouraguimov (18-1) vs. Laureano Staropoli (13-6) Welterweight main event
Abdouraguimov wins by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). “Lazy King” came close to finishing the fight in the first round one, but has to rely on the judge’s scorecards to calim the 19th victory of his professional career.
Patrick Habirora (4-0) vs. Catalin Safta (5-2) Lightweight co-main event
Habirora wins by KO/TKO at 2:16 of round three. “The Belgian Bomber” pulls off a KO of the year contender to extend his unbeaten start to his professional career.

Mickael Groguhe (5-2) vs. Lamine Sene (5-7) Heavyweight

Lewis McGrillen-Evans (10-1) vs. Alexander Luster (9-1) Bantamweight final
McGrillen-Evans wins by KO/TKO at 3:52 of round two to become the PFL Europe bantamweight champion and claim a check for $100,000.
Connor Hughes (10-1) vs. Jakub Kaszuba (13-0) Lightweight final
Kaszuba wins by KO/TKO (ground and pound) at 4:07 of round four to claim his second consecutive PFL Europe lightweight title and pocket $100,000 in prize money.

Florim Zendeli (9-1-1) vs. Daniele Miceli (13-5) Welterweight final
Zendeli wins by submission (rear naked choke) at 4:34 of round one and claims his third PFL victory of 2024 along with the championship belt and $100,000.
Paulina Wisniewska (4-0) vs. Valentina Scatizzi (3-3) Flyweight final
Wisniewska wins by TKO (knee and punches) at 0:20 of round one. The Polish fighter is now the 2024 women’s flyweight champion and pockets a cool $100,000 in prize money after picking up the fastest-ever victory in a PFL Europe championship fight.
Brice Belghazi (1-0) vs. Eoin Sheridan (1-0) Welterweight
Sheridan wins by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). The Irishman dominated in his promotional debut from the opening bell.
Claudio Pacella (4-2) vs. Oscar Ownsworth (8-3-1) Lightweight
Pacella wins by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28). The Italian, who trains out of SBG in Dublin, Ireland, picked up his second consecutive victory within the PFL smartcage.
