Many expected Nate Marquardt to come out of last nights final Strikeforce event and into the UFC as the Strikeforce Welterweight Champion. Tarec Saffiedine didn’t buy into that.

In a very lopsided main event, Saffiedine brutalized Marquardt’s lead leg with stiff leg kicks for the entire fight. The leg kicks ended up being a game-changer for Saffiedine, as it stopped Marquardt from utilizing his tremendous takedowns.

Following the fight Marquardt took to Twitter to share some photos of his bruised and battered leg.
