Robbie Lawler is set to face Carlos Condit in his second title defense in the main event of UFC 193.
The title bout was announced on Wednesday’s UFC Tonight.
Robbie Lawler faces Carlos Condit in headliner of UFC 193
Lawler is coming off a fifth-round TKO win over Rory MacDonald when he defended his strap for the first time at UFC 189. Prior to that, at UFC 181, he defeated Johny Hendricks in a rematch to become the UFC welterweight champion.
Condit came back from a year on the sidelines due to injury this past May and stopped Thiago Alves in the second round (doctor’s stoppage). Prior to that, he suffered an injury in a pivotal co-feature bout with Tyron Woodley and the bout was called off early (Woodley was awarded the TKO).

UFC 193 takes place live from a TBD venue in Melbourne, Australia on Nov. 14.
