Robert Drysdale confirms he is out of UFC 163

 

MMASucka.com reported yesterday that 3 time BJJ world champion and undefeated MMA fighter Robert Drysdale (6-0) was said to have to pulled out of his UFC debut against Ednaldo Oliviera at UFC 163 due to a staph infection. After that story went up, MMASucka reached out to Drysdale, who confirmed today that he is, in his words, “Out.”

We here at MMASucka.com wish Prof. Drysdale a speedy recovery, as staph infections are very damaging illnesses.

UFC 163 is scheduled to go down on August 7th, 2013 at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The card will be headlined by a featherweight title clash between champion Jose “Scarface” Aldo and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.
