A new bout has been reported for UFC on FS1’s initial Brazilian card, with “Jacare” facing “Thunder.”

Ronalda Souza vs. Yushin Okami pegged for UFC on FS1 3
Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (18-3, 1 N/C) debuted in the UFC in impressive fashion, tapping out rising middleweight Chris Camozzi in the first round of their bout at UFC on FX 8. One of the world’s best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners, Jacare has adapted to MMA in a way that many of his fellow BJJ players can only dream of. With dangerous submissions and improving striking, the X-Gym product will be looking for his 5th consecutive win. Will he get it against the sturdy Okami?
Yushin “Thunder” Okami (29-7) is the most successful Japanese fighter in Ultimate Fighting Championship history, winning 13 of his 17 bouts in the big show. With powerful wrestling and solid, if basic striking, Okami is at his best when he’s on top, raining down the ground and pound. Will he be able to impose his will on “Jacare” and get his name back into contendership talks with a victory over Souza?
UFC on FS1 3 goes down on September 4th at the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Federal District, Brazil. No main event has officially been set yet, with only Jussier da Silva vs. Joseph Benavidez having been confirmed.
