RUFF, a Chinese-based MMA promotion, held its 5th event on September 8th at the People’s Stadium situated in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China.
The entire event was streamed ‘LIVE’ on PPTV.com, and broadcasted on several TV stations across China.
The main event saw Rodrigo Caporal defeat Hao Tian Wu by KO. The Brazilian tagged his opponent with a vicious right-hook, forcing the official to intervene and stop the fight. Now undefeated in his last 3 RUFF outings, Caporal has certainly added his name to the mix at 155-lbs.
Elsewhere, both Zhang Mei Xuan and Liu Ping Yuan received ‘Fight of the Night’ honors in what was a feisty 3 round affair that undoubtedly sent the Chinese fans home happy.
