Sarah Kaufman involved in a car accident

UFC star Sarah Kaufman was involved in a car accident late last night. The former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion was driving in her hometown of Victoria, BC when her vehicle was struck by another motorist running a red light. She took a picture of her vehicle and uploaded it to her instagram to show the damage.

Kaufman would later state on her Twitter account that she was not seriously hurt. However, some injuries – such as whiplash – take time to become apparent, so while no further word has come out from about the extent of her injuries, we’ll have to wait and see if that changes. Hopefully, this will not put the kaibosh on a proposed rematch between the BC native and Meisha Tate later this year.

  1. This is too bad, because I was hoping she would be on the UFC 174 fight card in Vancouver.
