Shayna Baszler injured and forced out of TUF Nations Finale fight with Sarah Kaufman

A battle between Shayna Baszler and Sarah Kaufman was expected to take place at the TUF Nations Finale, however an injured has forced Baszler from the match.

UFC officials announced the news on Tuesday, and stated that they are currently seeking a replacement for Kaufman.

Kaufman (16-2, 1NC) is coming off a controversial no-contest against Jessica Eye at UFC 166 last October. That was the Victoria, B.C. natives long awaited UFC debut. The former Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion had a split decision victory against Leslie Smith under the Invicta banner prior to making the move over to the UFC.

The TUF Nations Finale goes down on April 16 from the Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The main event is a middleweight scrap between Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy.
