Sotiropoulos, Pearson announced as coaches of TUF UK vs Austrailia

The coaches for the second international season of the Ultimate Fighter have been announced.   Australia’s George Sotiropoulos and the UK’s Ross Pearson will be leading a team of their fellow country men/UFC prospects to do battle in a season that has been dubbed “The Smashes”.

Both fighters are alumni of the TUF series.  Sotiropoulos is a semifinalist from team Serra on season 7, and Pearson had won season 9,  United States vs United Kingdom.  The coaches are most likely to be expected to fight at the end of the season.

Pearson will likely make his way back to the lightweight division to fight Sotiropoulos after an unsuccessful fight at featherweight against tough veteran Cub Swanson.

Sotiropoulos is also coming off a loss and will be looking to get back on another win streak.  He has dropped his last 2 bouts against Denis Siver and Rafael Dos Anjos.
