ONE Championship will be back in the United States on Friday, August 1. The organization announced its return with a massive atomweight showdown as one of the headline matchups. The ONE Atomweight MMA World Championship will be unified as Stamp Fairtex meets interim titleholder Denice Zamboanga at ONE 173: Denver.

Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga, former training partners and now rivals, will step inside the Circle to unify the Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship in a fight the entire world is waiting for. And that is just the first of several blockbuster bouts we have planned for this stacked card,” ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong said in the press release.

Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga Fight PPD by a Year Due to Injury
Zamboanga was slated to challenge for the title in 2024. However, an injury to the Thai phenom pushed the bout into the future. While Stamp was rehabbing, Zamboanga showed off her evolution as an athlete against Alyona Rassohyna to capture the ONE Interim Atomweight MMA World Title.
“This upcoming fight against Stamp [Fairtex] in the United States is a dream come true for me. It’s not just a personal milestone but a significant moment for the Philippines. Representing my country on such a grand stage fills me with immense pride. I am ready to give my all and bring honor to our nation,” Zamboanga remarked.
Stamp Fairtex Ready to Make Comeback in Denver on Aug. 1
Stamp Fairtex watched from the sidelines, happy to see her friend win gold all the while knowing they would collide when she was healthy. As Stamp prepares to reestablish herself as the queen of the division, she also returns to the U.S. for the first time since defeating Alyse Anderson at ONE Fight Night 10. Making her way back to the Mile High City has Stamp excited to be back in action.
