Submission Underground 16 goes down today with a stacked card from top to bottom. The main event has Craig Jones taking on Mason Fowler in a rematch from ADCC 2019. In fact, this match could be one of the toughest tests for Jones as Fowler looked very strong in the first match before he was submitted in the final minute.
There are a few other notable matches on the card as Richie Martinez will meet Kevin Casey inside the cage and Micah Brakefield will take on Ben Egli who stepped in on short notice. Brakefield was originally set to take on UFC veteran Jake Ellenberger, but unfortunately, Ellenberger was forced to pull out of the match due to COVID-19.
Another exciting match to keep your eye on is the co-main event between Amanda Loewen and Erin Herle. Once again another short notice replacement as Loewen was going to face Gillian Robertson but Robertson was forced to pull out after one of her teammates tested positive for COVID.
