The AMC Pankration native had to weather the early storm against a determined Yang Seung Ho (6-1), who came out bursting with a flurry of punches.
The American took his South Korean counterpart to the canvas at one point in the first stanza, and had a Kimura submission attempt which was shrugged off seamlessly by Yang.

Fodor (8-3) stepped up his game in rounds two and three, keeping his opponent up against the cage whilst landing accurate combinations of knees, elbows, uppercuts and punches.
Yang’s heart, however, was admirable as he refused to give up until the final horn. Fodor was a big step up in competition for the 23-year-old, as he succumbed to just the first set-back of his professional MMA career.
As for Fodor, he’s back in the win column following defeats in Strikeforce and the UFC.
