Syafiq ‘The Slasher’ officially signs with the Pacific Xtreme Combat

It looks like yet another Asian prospect has joined the PXC ranks.

Yesterday afternoon (Singapore time), PXC CEO Edward J. Calvo, announced on Facebook that Syafiq ‘The Slasher’ had officially secured a deal with PXC.

Calvo also revealed that ‘The Slasher’ will be making his promotional debut at PXC 37 on May 18th in Manilla. An opponent, however, was not named.

Despite being  just 20-years-old, Syafiq ‘The Slasher’ (1-0) has already made waves in the Asian MMA community by establishing himself as one of the top Mixed Martial Artists in Singapore. He made his professional MMA debut in DARE towards the end of 2012, and submitted a much experienced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Purple-Belt in Donald Tong.

Fighting out of Juggernaut Fight Club, ‘The Slasher’ will now be looking forward to strutting his skills under the bright lights of the Pacific Xtreme Combat.
