Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida spoke with UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani after watching Jon Jones defeat Chael Sonnen at UFC 159. Machida wants another shot...
Many were hoping to hear UFC President Dana White tell them that UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones would be in a super-fight in his next match-up. However, Jones seemed to have different plans when he told the media at the UFC 159 post-fight press conference that he wants to fight Alexander Gustafsson.
As you are all well aware of, the SMMAF Medical Committee has pulled UFC Light Heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson from his main event battle against Gegard Mousasi at UFC on FUEL TV 9 this Saturday night. White sent a photo out of Gustafsson on his official Twitter account and was not too pleased.
Earlier this week the rumors were swirling about Alexander Gustafsson being forced out of his UFC on FUEL TV 9 main event against Gegard Mousasi. Well, yesterday the rumors were put to rest, as the Swedish MMA Federation would not clear "The Mauler" to fight this Saturday night.
As stated earlier this week the UFC on FUEL TV 9 main event was in jeopardy due to a cut above Alexander Gustafsson’s left eye which occurred during wrestling practice.
