When I stumbled upon this video on youtube this morning, I couldn't believe my ears that the "undisputed King of trash talk in the UFC" would actually utter the words "I Apologize", especially to Anderson Silva. In fact I had to watch it a couple times to make sure what I had heard was for real. Truly, it's an apology that you can only expect from Chael P. Sonnen. First Junior Dos Santos splits with his long time manager Ed Soares, now Anderson Silva is not too pleased with him. I don't know what this says about Soares as a manager, but Silva does not like the way he is speaking about his future and who he will be fighting next. Soares spoke about Anderson possibly fighting Chael Sonnen and he responded quickly that he is the one responsible for his fighting career.
At UFC 136 Chael Sonnen made his return to the octagon for the first time since his loss to Anderson Silva almost 14 months ago. He took on a very game Brian Stann and handled him with ease, finishing the fight in the second round via arm triangle choke.
It was announced earlier today at the UFC Fan Expo in Houston, Texas by UFC President Dana White that the fans had voted for the reigning pound for pound king Anderson Silva would be the cover athlete for THQ's latest UFC video game, UFC Undisputed 3.
