Current UFC middleweight champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva, considered the top pound-for-pound fighter...
The very confident Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira must have believed he could muscle out of Frank Mir's vicious kimura at UFC 140, however his arm revealed different.
If you ask anyone at MMASucka.com, I make the worst fight picks. We even have the numbers to back this up. I can admit that I choose my picks very emotionally, especially when it comes to fighters whom I have been cheering for years that I have invested money into purchasing their swag, and time in waiting in line ups for autographs. No matter how lop sided a match will be out of their favor, I am still hoping that they will come out on the positive side of "anything can happen". For UFC 140, I went an awesome 1-4 on the main card with the help of some great performances by Chan Sung Jung, Brian Ebersole, Little Nog and Frank Mir. Jon Jones was my only saving grace, but even he gave me a first round heart attack. Although I didn't do so well, I do see the silver lining. Through these wins, there are some very interesting match ups that now make sense for the UFC to put together.
The crowd at the UFC 140 open workouts watched breathlessly as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira threw a series of vicious combinations into the training mitts, each one quicker and more powerful than the last. The only times he paused was to send a smoldering glare in the direction of his opponent, Frank Mir, who was standing across the gym.
Antonio Minotauro Nogueira admitted that he did not even pay attention to the fans on the way out to the octagon at UFC 134. The minute he realized that there was that much cheering was the minute after he shocked the fans by way of KO against Brendan Schaub.
After a very impressive knockout victory over Brendan Schaub in his home country of Brazil, Antonio Minotauro Nogueira has once again put his name in the mix of things in the UFC heavyweight division. Nogueira has his sites set on avenging his loss to Frank Mir, along with fighting in Canada later this year and Japan at some point in the future.
If you can't wait for UFC 134: Silva vs Okami you are in luck. The UFC has released a 10minute extended preview trailer. The trailer will go over all things to do with the Main Card.
