UFC Will Host Two Events on Same Day In February, Both on Live TV

Earlier this week it was speculated that the UFC would hold two events on the same day in February. Following last nights UFC on Versus 6 Post-Fight Press Conference, Dana White cleared this up for the media.

During last nights UFC on Versus 6 Post-Fight Press Conference, Dana White made mention that the UFC is looking at bringing Strikeforce Lightweight Champion Gilbert Melendez over to the organization "ASAP". Yeah, we do want to bring Gilbert Melendez over, and we're looking at it right now, We're looking to bring Gilbert Melendez over ASAP.

Dana White Not Impressed With Spike’s Decision To Counter Program

Just days ago it was announced that Spike TV would be very strongly counter programing the UFC's debut on Fox. This season of The Ultimate Fighter will end the partnership between the two companies.

For 24 hours Nick Diaz was out of UFC 137. Now, he is back on the card, but not with his original opponent. UFC President Dana White announced via Twitter that Diaz (25-7, 1 NC) will be facing former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight Champion BJ Penn (16-7-2) at UFC 137 in Las Vegas.
