Daniel Cormier picked up a unanimous decision victory over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir in his debut fight.
Although it wasn't pretty, Cormier did what he needed to do to earn the judges nod.
The former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir and Strikeforce Grand Prix Champion Daniel Cormier battle in the co-main event.
Mir began the round by throwing four to five head-kicks that missed within the first minute of the fight. For the better part of the round Cormier had Mir pushed up against the fence and he landed nasty punches and knees which slowed Mir down.
On Saturday night in the co-main event at UFC on FOX 7 former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir will square off against Strikeforce Grand Prix Champion Daniel Cormier.
Cormier hasn't been doing too much talking, but Mir has been talking a lot and tonight he continued.
