Tara LaRosa vs. Internet Troll
Facebook group McDojo Life has released the sparring footage of WMMA pioneer Tara LaRosa (22-5) vs. internet troll Kris Zylinski. After an initial attempt to live-stream the sparring session was broken up by authorities in Florida who considered it a prizefight. McDojo Life was able to reschedule the sparring session at an undisclosed date, and released the footage on Monday, January 22nd, 2018.
Kris Zylinski popped up on the MMA periphery after responding to a Facebook post with a bold statement: That an untrained man could defeat a trained woman in a real fight. McDojo Life wasted no time in trying to set up a sparring session for Zylinski to test his outdated theory. After a pair of amateur fighters were forced to withdraw, inactive women’s MMA OG Tara LaRosa stepped up to the plate. LaRosa, who hasn’t fought officially since 2015, quickly wore out the cocky Zylinski before methodically submitting him twice.
