Thiago Silva pulls out of bout with Ovince St. Preux set for UFC Fight Night 35

That didn’t take long now, did it? Thiago Silva, a mere day after his fight with Ovince St. Preux was announced for UFC Fight Night 35, has withdrawn from the bout. No explanation was given, but UFC officials are looking for a new opponent for St. Preux in the co-main event.

UFC Fight Night 35 takes place January 15th, 2014, and will emanate from The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA. The card is currently set to be headlined by a 185 lbs. bout pitting the last Strikeforce Middleweight Champion, Luke Rockhold, and the always dangerous Constantinos Philippou.
