Tim Kennedy’s Reebok fight kit removed from website

UFC middleweight fighter Tim Kennedy has been out of action since September 2014 when he lost via TKO against Yoel Romero. Since then, Kennedy has been very outspoken about the UFC and their deal with Reebok.

Following an interview he did with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, it sounds like his fighter kid has been removed from the website.

Tim Kennedy’s Reebok fight kit removed from website

Reebok pulled my UFC fighter kit. The only “kit” I care about are the ones that stop bullets and carry mine. If you’re interested in buying some Tim Kennedy T-shirts you should know where to go to get them.

The number 8 ranked middleweight in the UFC stated, “My disenchantment has come from the business side of it. The officiating, the reffing, the sponsorship. Where the sport is now, it’s horrible, tragic, and pathetic.”

This past weekend Glover Teixeira finished Ovince Saint Preux at UFC Fight Night 73 and according to Kennedy he made more than the entire card when he had sponsorships on his back.

“Glover just fought OSP, right? The entire Reebok payout was $100,000 or something? All, every athlete on the entire UFC card that night,” he said. “I made more sponsorship money in Strikeforce than every single athlete on that card that night. In one fight!”

“Me vs. Luke Rockhold or me vs. Jacare. Even my last fight, me versus Zak Cummings. I made more than every single UFC athlete, to include Glover, who just fought for the title against Jon Jones, cumulatively. If that doesn’t blow your mind and say what is wrong with this sport.”
