The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale will have plenty to live up to after last night’s amazing card. Eddie Alvarez stole the show after defeating Rafael dos Anjos in decisive fashion, while the rest of the card provided plenty of excitement for UFC fans.
Tonight, Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend her belt in a rematch against her current rival Claudia Gadelha. Both ladies are coming off a great season of coaching on TUF, and are set to do battle in the main event tonight.
TUF 23 Finale Results
The TUF 23 season concluded with a bang, as every semi-final match ended in a first round finish. Andrew Sanchez and Khalil Rountree both won their fights via first round TKO/KO, and are set to do battle in the light heavyweight final. On the women’s strawweight side, Amanda Cooper and Tatiana Suarez both finished their fights via first round submission, and will look to be crowned the first female strawweight winner on TUF since Carla Esparaza took home the UFC strawweight title back on TUF 20.
UFC veteran Ross Pearson will also make his return to the Octagon, while highly-anticipated prospect Doo Ho Choi will make his third appearance in the UFC. He is currently 2-0 in the UFC with two first round TKO/KO finishes.
