It may have happened 18-months ago, but a photo that was posted by TUF Nation’s Australian middleweight Tyler Manawaroa has resurfaced.
TUF Nations cast reacts to Team Australia’s Tyler Manawaroa’s racist Instagram photo
Canadian welterweight Kajan Johnson posted the following on Sunday morning.

It didn’t take long for Team Canada coach, Patrick Cote to respond.

Another Canadian, and former UFC middleweight David Loiseau also had some choice words from the Australian.

Manawaroa saw the reaction of his fellow housemate and the rest of the Twitterverse and decided to post a statement on his official Facebook page.
“I posted a pic on instagram that has offended people..I’m very sorry !! As you can imagine that was never the intention. .as a dark-skinned person myself who has dealt with racism all my life, I was making fun of the stereotype that all dark people go to jail..which is obviously not true….hence the irony…but I will remove it and I apologize for offending you”
Manawaroa (10-0) fought on last weeks episode of TUF Nations (Ep. 4) and won a hard fought three round decision against Nordine Taleb. The Canadian saw the tweet and reacted as well.
