Three Tweetstars of the Day – Cat Zingano

There is always somebody cracking jokes about MMA, whether it’s fighters, writers or fans. Some of them are even pretty funny, so with all that’s gone on today, including the uproar over Miesha Tate replacing Cat Zingano as a TUF 18 coach due to injury, we’re going to take a look at three of the best tweets today. Tonight we’ve got material from fighters John Alessio and Joseph Benavidez, as well as a contribution from MMA fan FLEEK.

Three Tweetstars of the Day – Cat Zingano

#1) Former UFC fighter John Alessio didn’t have the best luck in his last sting in the UFC. Can you blame him for wondering how Miesha Tate lucked into getting the TUF 18 coaching spot? Or for taking a little dig at her and her boyfriend, Bryan Caraway, for that matter?

#2) MMA fan FLEEK gets a star for his one-two punch of his callback to the 1994 Olympic figure skating controversy (where Tonya Harding had Nancy Kerrigan injured in order to ensure her place on the team), and his hilarious line on a prop bet for the next TUF season.

#3) Joseph Benavidez was apparently quite gangsta in his younger days, if he is to be believed.
