UFC 138 Award Winners: Barao, Pickett, Etim, Mills Pick Up $70k

From a fans perspective a very lacklustre card; however UFC 138 definitely delivered an action packed card. The event went down at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England. Mark Munoz caused so much damage to Chris Leben, that it forced his corner to call a stop to the fight in between the second and third round. The co-main event showed off two highly touted bantamweights; Renan Barao made quick work of Brad Pickett proving he is a force to be recken with in the bantamweight division. UFC newcomer Papy Abedi was not welcomed very nicely to the octagon, as Thiago Alves dropped him quickly and finished him with a rear naked choke. The first two fights of the night ended via submission, with Anthony Perosh defeating Cyrille Diabate and Terry Etim defeating Eddie Faaloloto in just 17-seconds.

Dana White announced the bonuses awards for the nights top performers immediately following the event. Once again the UFC did not disappoint and generously gave each winner $70,000.
