UFC 143 draws 6,727 paid attendance and $2,389,975 gate

UFC 143 proved to be a success on most fronts, with above average pay-per-view buys and a healthy number on the gate — The UFC walked away with $2,389,975 paid attendance following last weekends blockbuster.

All in all 6,727 tickets were sold for the event with 2,288 comp’d and 751 seats left vacant for the nights proceedings.

UFC 143 was the final event of a five-week marathon stretch on Zuffa, LLC events which could cause it to get lost in the shuffle in a lot of cases but it seems the lure of Nick Diaz was enough to pack the stands.
