UFC 149: Aldo vs. Koch officially sells out

UFC officials announced on Saturday that UFC 149 has officially sold out. UFC 149 will be the promotions first stop in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Tickets for the event went on sale to UFC Fight Club members on Thursday, newsletter subscribers on Friday, and to the general public on Saturday. By the time the general public got their hands on them they were officially sold out.

UFC 149 will take place on July 21 at the Scotiabank Saddledome and will be headlined by a featherweight title scrap between champ Jose Aldo and Erik Koch.

Also on the card is a light heavyweight showdown between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Thiago Silva, as well as a middleweight fight between Michael Bisping vs. Tim Boetsch.

Calgary fans are in for a delight as the UFC makes their first stop in cowtown on July 21.
