UFC 183 went down on Saturday evening, with a super-fight in the main event.
The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada hosted former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva taking on former Strikeforce champ Nick Diaz. In a fairly uneventful bout, Silva swept the judges scorecards to win the fight in his return from injury. The victory earned “The Spider” a whopping $800,000, while Diaz brought in $500,000 for his losing effort.
