UFC 190 DraftKings Preview and Predictions

UFC 190 goes down from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The main event is a battle for the UFC women’s bantamweight title as bitter rivals Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia go toe-to-toe. Also on the card are legends of the sport Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira who will square off in the co-main event.

Check out our DraftKings picks below. (FFPG = Fantasy Points Per Game)

UFC 190 DraftKings Preview

BEST BETS

Ronda Rousey – 11-0 ($12,200 – FFPG – 103.1) – “Rowdy” is a no-brainer when it comes to daily fantasy picks. She gets in and out of the cage very quick and her finish rate is 100%, so her fantasy points are going to be through the roof. Correia in my opinion is not her toughest test to date, so a finish is very likely. Her stock is so high, that almost everyone in your DraftKings game will probably be picking her, so if you don’t you will be left out high and dry.

Dileno Lopes – 19-1 ($11,300 – FFPG – 0.0) – Lopes looks to kick his UFC career off with a bang against Reginaldo Vieira in front of their home country of Brazil. Lopes is riding a five fight winning streak and is currently ranked as the #1 flyweight in Brazil, while his opponent is ranked #20 according to Tapology. Of his 19 victories, Lopes has only gone to the judges scorecards twice and will look to keep that streak alive at UFC 190. Other than Rousey, the TUF Brazil 4 finalist is the highest favorite on the Rio fight card.

UNDERDOG BETS

Jessica Aguilar 19-4 ($8,200 – FFPG 0.0) – Aguilar comes into her UFC debut against Claudia Gadelha a +260 underdog, which isn’t steep, but it is interesting because she is the former WSOF women’s champ and the competition she has beaten. She is currently riding a ten fight winning streak, which includes a victory over former UFC women’s strawweight champion Carla Esparza. In Gadelha’s last outing she lost to the current queen of the 115-pound division, Joanna Jędrzejczyk. This fight is very close on paper and should be high octane from the opening bell.

Nordine Taleb 11-2 ($8,300 – FFPG 60.7) – The Canadian is 3-0 inside the Octagon and does what he has to each and every time to get it done. His opponent Warlley Alves is undefeated at 8-0, but has been out of action since November of last year. The veteran Taleb could be a great pick if you are short on cash and need to make an underdog pick.
