UFC 269 Review Show – Latest MMASucka Podcast

The latest MMASucka podcast is live. The guys, Frazer Krohn and Tim Wheaton take a look at this past weeks UFC 269 card. In the main event, Charles Oliveria defeated Dustin Poirier via third-round submission to make his first title defence. The team discuss whether ‘The Diamond’ will ever compete for the belt again and what could be next for him. They also consider whether Oliveria’s record is better than former champions, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

In the co-main event, Juliana Pena shocked the world when she beat up Amanda Nunes on the feet, took her down and submitted her. The massive underdog completed one of the biggest upsets in UFC history by defeating ‘The Lionness’ and consensus women’s GOAT. The guys discuss whether an immediate rematch is likely, whether Nunes quit and how crazy the sport of MMA is.

 

Elsewhere, the MMASucka podcast hosts look further down the card at impressive performances from Sean O’Malley, Kai-Kara France and Dominick Cruz.
