UFC on Versus 6 brought fans an exciting night of fights. There were knockouts, submissions and all out wars. The main event had Dominick Cruz scoring a five round title defense victory over Demetrious Johnson. In the co-main event Stefan Struve managed to secure a slick triangle choke on Pat Barry. Anthony Johnson showed his size advantage over Charlie Brenneman and eventually managed a slick high kick KO late in the first round. In a rematch from UFC 115, Mac Danzig and Matt Wiman were in an all out war in the opening bout, Wiman took a unanimous decision victory.
The UFC awarded $65,000 to the “Fight Night” award winners. Dana announced these and the live gate at the Post Fight Press Conference.
