UFC cuts Pedro Nobre, Ken Stone, Byron Bloodworth and Josh Janousek

The UFC has made some adjustments to their growing roster. Following some losses and an injury the organization has released four of its fighters.

Pedro Nobre, Ken Stone, Byron Bloodworth and Josh Janousek were the fighters that were cut. Thanks to MMA Opinion for breaking the news.

Nobre (14-1-2 1NC) was accused of quitting and faking an injury in his last outing at UFC on FX 7. In his fight against Yuri Alcantara at last weekends event, referee Dan Miragliotta called a stop to the fight when he believed Alcantara struck Nobre in the back of the head. The fight was initially ruled a DQ, but later overturned to a no contest. UFC President Dana White was furious no only with the referee call, but also with the so-called acting that Nobre put on.

Stone (11-4) was 2-2 in his UFC career and most recently lost to Erik Perez at UFC 150 this past August.

Bloodworth (6-3) didn’t get a victory inside the octagon losing to Mike Easton and most recently Erik Perez at UFC 155 this past December.

In a peculiar situation, Janousek (8-1) was expected to make his UFC debut this weekend at UFC on FOX 6 against Michael Kuiper. He took the fight on short notice, however was forced to withdraw with an undisclosed injury. He has now been cut from the organization without even making an appearance inside the cage.
