UFC Fight Night 35 medical suspensions

 

UFC Fight Night 35 gave us a fairly exciting line-up of fights, and now some of the athletes are paying the price. The Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission has released the full list of medical suspensions from the January 15th event and Derek Brunson was the worst off, receiving an indefinite suspension for a broken jaw. The full list, from most serious to the least, is below.

UFC Fight Night 35 medical suspensions

  • Derek Brunson: suspended indefinitely due to broken jaw, requires doctor’s clearance
  • Cole Miller: suspended 45 days due to broken hand
  • Costas Philippou: suspended 30 days
  • Mike Easton: suspended 30 days due to laceration over left eye
  • Sam Sicilia: suspended 30 days due to swollen left eye
  • Justin Edwards: suspended 30 days due to laceration over left eye
  • Isaac Vallie-Flagg: suspended 30 days due to laceration over left eye
  • Trevor Smith: suspended 30 days due to laceration on forehead
  • Luke Rockhold: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Brad Tavares: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Lorenz Larkin: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • T.J. Dillashaw: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Yoel Romero: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • John Moraga: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Dustin Ortiz: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Ramsey Nijem: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Elias Silverio: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Brian Houston: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Louis Smolka: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Alptekin Ozkilic: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Vinc Pichel: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
  • Garett Whiteley: suspended 7 days for precautionary measures
