UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Imavov Results

After taking a bye-week, the UFC is back at the Apex.

The Main Event

Middleweight contenders meet in the main event of UFC Vegas 85. #8 ranked Roman Dolidze takes on #11 ranked Nassourdine Imavov in five rounds or less. Both fighters will try to get back in the win column on Saturday.

Debuting in 2020, Dolidze has had a pretty good run in the UFC thus far. The Georgian started off at 6-1 in the Octagon but lost in his last bout against Marvin Vettori in March. This ended Dolidze’s four-fight win streak which earned him a top-10 ranking. Dolidze will fight a little down the ladder now as he takes on Imavov.

Imavov has seen better days in his career. The 27 year-old is left without a win since Sep. 2022, with his last two bouts being a no-contest vs. Chris Curtis and a decision loss to former champ Sean Strickland. Prior to the setbacks, Imavov had a trio of wins over Joaquin Buckley, Edmen Shahbayzan and Ian Heinisch. ‘The Russian Sniper’ will try to add Roman Dolidze’s name to his resume with a win in Las Vegas.

Co-Main Event

A lightweight scrap between Renato Moicano and Drew Dober takes place in the co-headliner. Moicano attempts to regain momentum from his submission win over Brad Riddell and viral post-fight interview from UFC 281.

Dober also looks to build off his latest performance, a TKO of Ricky Glenn in October. Fireworks are almost guaranteed to happen when these two UFC veterans tango.

Also On The Card

Welterweights collide on the main card as Randy ‘Rude Boy’ Brown fights Muslim Salikhov. In the featured prelim, ‘Meatball’ Molly McCann drops down to strawweight for a rematch with Diana Belbiţă.
