UFC on FX 3 fighter salaries

The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation released the fighter salaries for all fighters who competed in last weekends UFC on FX 3 fight card.

The man leading the pack was welterweight fighter Mike Pyle who raked in an event high $66,000 for his highlight reel KO of Josh Neer. Next in line was preliminary card fighter Mike Pierce who brought home a cool $40,000 for his split decision victory over  Carlos Eduardo Rocha. Also earning $40,000 was main event winner and now flyweight finalist Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson who defeated Ian “Uncle Creepy” McCall in the tournament semi-finals.

Demetrious Johnson: $40,000 ($20,000 to show, $20,000 to win) def. Ian McCall: $9,000

Erick Silva: $16,000 ($8,000 to show, $8,000 to win) def. Charlie Brenneman: $18,000

Mike Pyle: $66,000 ($33,000 to show, $33,000 to win) def. Josh Neer: $14,000

Eddie Wineland: $20,000 ($10,000 to show, $10,000 to win bonus) def. Scott Jorgensen: $20,500

Mike Pierce: $40,000 ($20,000 to show, $20,000 to win) def. Carlos Eduardo Rocha: $8,000

Seth Baczynski: $20,000 ($10,000 to show, $10,000 to win) def. Lance Benoist: $8,000

Matt Grice: $12,000 ($6,000 to show, $6,000 to win) def. Leonard Garcia: $20,000

Dustin Pague: $16,000 ($8,000 to show, $8,000 to win) def. Jared Papazian: $6,000

Tim Means: $16,000 ($8,000 to show, $8,000 to win) def. Justin Salas: $8,000

Buddy Roberts: $12,000 ($6,000 to show, $6,000 to win) def. Caio Magalhaes: $8,000

Henry Martinez: $12,000 ($6,000 to show, $6,000 to win) def. Bernardo Magalhaes: $6,000

Sean Pierson: $20,000 ($10,000 to show, $10,000 to win) def. Jake Hecht: $8,000

These numbers are the salaries that the organization has to give to the State Commissions. They do not include deductions for items such as insurance, licenses and other fees. They also do not include “fight night” bonuses, sponsor pay or any other bonuses that the UFC often give their fighters.
