UFC on FX 5 adds Castillo vs. Johnson and Roller vs. Volkmann from cancelled UFC 151 card

Two more sets of fights have been shifted to UFC on FX 5, since the cancellation of UFC 151 earlier today.

Danny Castillo vs. Michael Johnson and Shane Roller vs. Jacob Volkmann will now be part of the UFC on FX 5 card which is set for October 5.

UFC officials announced the newly placed match-ups on Thursday evening.

Castillo (14-4) will look to notch his fourth straight win inside the octagon and push himself even further up that lightweight ladder. While Johnson (11-6) will look to make it three in a row.

Roller (11-6) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over John Alessio at UFC 148. Volkmann (14-3) was on a five fight winning streak, until he was stopped by Paul Sass at UFC 146.

It was announced earlier today that Jake Ellenberger and Jay Hieron would also be moved to the UFC on FX 5 card.

The UFC on FX 5 fight card is now sitting at 13 bouts. The event is set to take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis and will air on FX and FUEL TV. The main event is expected to be a heavyweight collision between Travis Browne and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
