UFC Heavyweight Champ Junior Dos Santos Breaks Down UFC 142 Main and Co-Main Event

Brazil’s own and UFC Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos spoke with the UFC and gave his breakdown on both the main event and the co-main event for UFC 142 which takes place in Brazil.

It isn’t too far fetched to think he would be cheering for his hometown boys, with Jose Aldo taking on Chad Mendes in the main event and Vitor Belfort facing Anthony Johnson in the co-main event.

“I think Aldo is one of the best and I expect him to get the knockout. Chad Mendes is tough; a great wrestler and very fit. But I think Aldo is amazing. He’s one of the best pound-for-pound (fighters) in the world.”

“Vitor is one of the true veterans of the sport and he’s done so much. Anthony Johnson should be dangerous at middleweight, but I expect Vitor’s experience to help him to victory.”

Jose Aldo is ranked in many peoples top 10 pound for pound lists and Vitor Belfort is a very experienced veteran of the sport. We will see if the champ is right this Saturday night live from the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
