UFC Paris is now one for the books as the Octagon returned to Paris, France for the second time in history. The same man who won in the main event last year, Ciryl Gane returned to do the same this year as he obliterated Sergey Spivak inside two rounds.
In the co-main event, France’s Manon Fiorot defeated former strawweight champion, Rose Namajunas. Making her flyweight debut, Namajunas wasn’t able to beat the assumed future flyweight title challenger, extending her losing streak to two.
Benoit St Denis put on the performance of his career as he dominated Thiago Moises in quick fashion, finishing things in the second round after dominating early on with relentless pressure.
Smith vs. Eubank Jr 2
The podcast also looks at the big fight in the world of UK boxing as Liam Smith looked to put an end to the rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr. Previously, Smith handed Eubank Jr his first professional finish loss, however, the finish held some controversy with it. Eubank Jr claimed that he was hit by an elbow.
He left no stone unturned this time, however. He dominated Smith for the entire fight and proved to be simply too much for the Liverpudlian.
