Former UFC and PRIDE star Enson Inoue to walk across Japan

Former UFC and PRIDE star Enson Inoue plans to walk from one end of Japan, starting in  Sapporo and ending in Fukuoka.

He posted the fundraising effort on his official Facebook page and the UG.

The walk is about 1360 miles and Inoue will complete the walk for charity. He will be raising money to put on a large event for the people of North Korea.  For example if you pledge 0.05¢ per mile that would come out to $68. Or you pledged 0.03¢ per mile that would come out to about $40.

Anyone who wants to seriously pledge send an email, saying how much you’d like to pledge, to destinyforeverorders@gmail.com. When he finishes the walk he will send donators an email with payment methods, which will work on an honour system. You can follow the journey through Inoue’s Facebook page HERE.

The 46-year old began his professional MMA career back in 1995 with the Shooto promotion. He fought numerous times for the promotion before having his lone UFC fight at UFC 13 where he defeated Royce Alger by armbar.

He went on to fight in some wars for Japan’s largest fight promotion PRIDE where he took on the likes of Mark Kerr, Heath Herring and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

One of Inoue’s most memorable performances was an armbar submission victory over former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion Randy Couture back in 1998.

Inoue (12-8) last fought in 2010 when he defeated Antz Nansen by armbar at an event called Astra which took place in Tokyo, Japan.

Once again, if you would like to pledge to Inoue then send an email of your pledge to destinyforeverorders@gmail.com or for more information check out Enson’s Facebook page HERE
