After a huge weekend of fights at UFC 285, there have been plenty of rankings changes. After a dominant performance in the main event, Jon Jones cemented himself as the GOAT as he captured the heavyweight belt. In the co-main event, Alexa Grasso shocked the world as she submitted the long-time, dominant champion, Valentina Shevchenko.
Elsewhere, Shavkat Rakhmonov continued his unbeaten run, progressing to 17-0 with 17 finishes. Mateusz Gamrot also bounced back with a decision victory and Bo Nickal made a dominant start to his UFC career. For a full breakdown of the card, check out the latest MMASucka podcast:

Women’s Rankings
Women’s Bantamweight – Mayra Bueno Silva rises two places jumping over Miesha Tate and Julia Avila to sit at #10.
Women’s Flyweight – This is where the huge shake-ups begin. Grasso now sits atop the flyweights as the champion. Shevchenko drops to #1 and everyone below her shift down a single place. Miranda Maverick drops out of the top 15 in favour of Amanda Ribas, who debuts at #9. Viviane Araujo drops two places after her UFC 285 loss to Ribas. Jennifer Maia has risen to #8 ahead of her UFC 286 clash with Casey O’Neill.
Women’s Strawweight – After her win over Jessica Penne, Tabatha Ricci cracks the rankings at #15. Ribas drops two places having not competed at 115lbs since October 2021. Michelle Waterson-Gomez and Virna Jandiroba overtake Ribas. Elsewhere, Tatiana Suarez and Angela Hill switch places.
Women’s P4P – The only notable change is that Alexa Grasso is now ranked #2 behind Amanda Nunes.
Men’s Rankings
Men’s heavyweight – Jon Jones now sits atop the heavyweights as the champion. Stipe Miocic has risen to share the #1 spot alongside Ciryl Gane. Alexander Romanov has also dropped a spot to #14 with Jailton Almeida moving up a spot.
Men’s light heavyweight – No changes
Men’s Middleweight – After an impressive second-round TKO over Derek Brunson, Dricus du Plessis rises four spots to #6. Brunson drops to #8. Paulo Costa rises to #5 with Roman Dolidze and Jack Hermansson dropping one spot each to #9 and #10.
Men’s Welterweight – Rakhmonov rises three places to #6 following his big win. Stephen Thompson, Geoff Neal, Sean Brady Vicente Luque and Michael Chiesa have all dropped a single spot in the rankings to accommodate Nomad’s rise.
Men’s Lightweight – No changes
Men’s Featherweight – No changes
Men’s bantamweight – Strangely, Adrian Yanez rises a single spot ahead of his UFC 287 fight with Rob Font and is now ranked #12. Chris Gutierrez drops a single place as a result.
Men’s Flyweight – No changes
Men’s P4P – Jon Jones is now ranked yet again at #1 on the men’s P4p list. He was previously ranked #10 but after his UFC 285 win, has jumped nine places. Consequently, everyone who was previously ranked 1-9 has shifted down a single spot.
