UFC Seattle Weigh-in Results: Fighter Just Makes Weight Before Clock Runs Out

UFC Seattle is just a day away. Tomorrow night, Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA plays host to the last UFC Fight Night in the month of February. Inside the United States, UFC Seattle is exclusively available on ESPN+ and Disney Plus.

Live coverage of Saturday night’s show begins with the prelims at 6 pm ET/ 3 pm PT on ESPN+, followed at 9 pm ET/ 6 pm PT with the main card. Despite seven contests on the slate being postponed for various reasons ahead of the show, the final bout order includes a 12-fight schedule from the Pacific Northwest.

Ahead of the show taking place on Saturday evening at the former KeyArena, the official weigh-ins for UFC Seattle were held on Friday morning. There were tense times on the scales earlier today, however

Co-Headliner Almost Fails to Weigh-In Before Time Expires

While all 24 fighters weighed in on-target on Friday morning, it wasn’t without drama. Both Brendan Allen (24-6 MMA, 12-3 UFC) and his opponent Anthony Hernandez (13-2, 1 NC MMA, 7-2 UFC) made the middleweight nontitle maximum of 186 lbs, but the clock ticked down on the latter.

With only a few minutes left before the official weigh-in window of two hours expired for Anthony Hernandez, he used a towel to record the needed weight. Beyond that, there were no issues on the scales today.

UFC Seattle Main Event Locked In After Friday’s Weigh-Ins

The main event of the evening will also proceed on schedule this weekend in Seattle. During the Friday morning weigh-ins, Henry Cejudo (16-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) and Song Yadong (21-8-1, 1 NC MMA, 10-3-1 UFC,) came in at 135 lbs and 136 lbs, respectively.
