Undefeated since 2016 after being submitted by future fellow UFC competitor Morgan Charriere, Gomis has won his past 12 contests in a row going into UFC Vegas 103. A true homegrown talent on the French MMA scene, “Jaguar” had racked up several notable accolades in his home country, such as capturing the 100% Fight featherweight strap on two occasions.
Coming into the UFC in late 2022, Gomis has remained unblemished in his four trips to the Octagon, though not without facing adversity. Winning a hard fought majority decision over Jarno Errens in his debut, the Frenchman has had to dig deep in several of his fights since. This includes two competitive split decision victories in his matchups with Francis Marshall and Joanderson Brito.

At first glance, Amil looks to have a serious edge in the striking department in this fight at UFC Vegas 103, considering six of his wins in the cage have come by way of knockout. However, in his 16 bouts as a professional mixed martial artist, Gomis has never been stopped via punches or kicks.
The Frenchman is also significantly younger than his American adversary, with Amil being 34 in comparison to Gomis who is only 27, meaning the longer the match goes, the more likely that the European will come out on top. Official prediction is Gomis by unanimous decision.
