UFC Vegas 104 Betting Predictions
Set to throw down in a rematch nearly two years in the making at UFC Fight Night 256, former UFC title challenger Marvin Vettori battles Roman Dolidze in a sure-fire slugfest between middleweight contenders. Also, Chidi Njokuani will try and garner his third straight win at welterweight when he tussles with Brazilian veteran Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos.
Main Event
Making his first appearance in the Octagon in over a year and a half, Vettori is looking to get back into championship contention after being on the sidelines due to a nagging shoulder injury. He also will have a brand new team behind him this time around, switching camps to American Top Team.
To say Dolidze had a productive 2024 would be an understatement. Although he lost a tight majority decision to Nassourdine Imavov in his first promotional main event at UFC on ESPN+ 93, the Georgian ended the year strong with wins over Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith.
Co-Main Event
After a disappointing stint in the 185-lb class, which saw him rack up a divisional record of 2-3, Njokuani dropped down to welterweight for the first since 2016 last year. The decision paid off well, as “Bang Bang” picked up two consecutive wins over Rhys McKee and Jared Gooden.
Quickly approaching his ten year anniversary in the UFC, Zaleski is seeking to enter the top 15 as one of the more current tenured welterweights on the roster. Having only lost once in the past four years, “Capoeira” appears to have hit a career resurgence, proven by victories over younger prospects in Abubakar Nurmagomedov, Zach Scroggin and Benoit Sanit-Denis.
More Bouts On the Main Card
On the rest of the main card, Alexander Hernandez fights The Ultimate Fighter Season 31 winner Kurt Holobaugh, Da’Mon Blackshear faces high-volume competitor Cody Gibson and a debuting Diyar Nurgozhay locks horns with Brendson Ribeiro. Finally, Choi Seung-woo battles previous Samurai Fight House triple champion Kevin Vallejos.
