UFC Vegas 104 happens tomorrow. 24 hours before the fights happen inside the UFC Apex in Enterprise, NV, the official weigh-in window was held Friday morning. Live coverage of tomorrow night’s card is seen wall-to-wall on ESPN+ (inside the United States).
Prelims begin at just past 4 pm ET/ 1 pm PT on ESPN+. Main card action follows at 7 pm ET/ 4 pm PT. However, although the main event of the evening between No. 8 contender Marvin Vettori and No. 10 Roman Dolidze had both contestants weigh-in on-target for the show on Saturday, there were a few hiccups on the scales today during the official window.
They both wanted 5 more rounds! 🫡

UFC Vegas 104 Co-Main Event Fighter Misses Contracted Weight
Although Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos made weight for his welterweight co-main event at UFC Vegas 104 without any issues at 171 lbs, his opponent in the fight, Chidi Njokuani, weighed in at 172 1/4 lbs. As a result of this, he’ll forfeit some of his purse to Zaleski dos Santos.
This was one of three issues cropping up during the official weigh-ins on Friday morning, though one issue was rectified later on in the day.
Light Heavyweight Contestant Fails to Make Weight Badly
Another main card fight for UFC Vegas 104 was also plagued by a combatant failing to make weight earlier this morning. Diyar Nurgozhay exceeded the light heavyweight nontitle maximum ahead of his first walk in the promotion by 4 1/2 lbs.
His adversary, Brendson Ribeiro, weighed-in a half-pound below the light heavyweight limit at 205 1/2 lbs. Despite the miss, this fight will still go on as intended, with Nurgozhay surrendering 25 percent of his pay for the bout.
Bantamweight Fighter Just Misses Mark Ahead of UFC Vegas 104 Before Making Weight on Second Try
The third contestant to exceed the nontitle maximum at Friday morning’s weigh-in didn’t miss the target by too much on his initial effort. Josias Musasa, scheduled to face Carlos Vera tomorrow at the UFC Apex in his UFC promotional debut, exceeded the bantamweight limit by half of a pound at 136 1/2 lbs at first.
A second effort to make weight on-target saw Musasa come in at 136 on the button. Vera made 136 lbs without issue at the first time of asking.
