Coming off of a nearly two year layoff, Marvin Vettori is set to rematch Georgian powerhouse Roman Dolidze in what has all the makings of a five round battle this Saturday at UFC Vegas 104. In the penultimate bout of the night, former Tachi Palace Fights champion Chidi Njokuani collides with fellow MMA veteran Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos.

Not seen inside the world-famous Octagon since losing a Fight of the Night main event to Jared Cannonier at UFC on ESPN 47, Vettori is looking to pick up some steam after taking a lengthy leave of absence from competition.
Earning a controversial unanimous decision over Dolidze in 2023 at UFC 286, “The Italian Dream” can jumpstart another warpath through the rankings by settling his rivalry with the Georgian at UFC Vegas 104 this Saturday night.
Despite a rocky start to his 2024 with a majority decision defeat to Nassourdine Imavov, Dolidze ended the year strongly with two victories over Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith, beating the latter at light heavyweight. Now, he can make a sizable leap in the middleweight rankings by taking out only the second man to beat him in the division, Vettori.
UFC Vegas 104 Co-Main Event
Going 2-0 last year with wins against Rhys McKee and Jared Gooden, Njokuani has rebounded in amazing fashion since dropping back down to welterweight after suffering a three-contest skid at 185-lb.
3-1-1 in his past five bouts (earning a victory over a debuting Benoit Saint-Denis), Zaleski appears to be gearing up for another fantastic run at 170-lb. Despite nearing his forties, the Brazilian hasn’t seemed to slow down at all, as proven by his three round scraps with top European talent like Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Rinat Fakhretdinov.
