Another spectacular event is in the books for the UFC after a thrilling trip to the Apex with UFC Vegas 108. Rebounding with a bang, flyweight contender Tatsuro Taira got back on track toward championship contention by flooring the then undefeated Hyun Sung Park, submitting the South Korean in two rounds. Where the event shone the most was in the co-main event, however, with Chris Duncan and Mateusz Rębecki recording a bloody, but entertaining barnburner.
Now, let’s take a look at some interesting post-event facts for the main card fighters of UFC Vegas 108.

UFC Vegas 108: Kevin Vallejos def. Danny Silva
Kevin Vallejos:
His win over Silva at UFC Vegas 109 improved his winning streak to five in a row since losing to Jean Silva back in 2023. His decision win on Saturday also marked only the third time he has won on the score cards in his professional career. In addition, his 90 significant strikes landed on Silva served as a new personal best in his UFC tenure, including his two appearances on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Danny Silva:
His loss to Vallejos brought an end to his four-bout win streak dating back to 2022. The contest was his second promotional scrap in 2025 after recently competing at UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev. So far in his stint with the company, Silva has gone the distance in all of his fights.
UFC Vegas 108: Neil Magny def. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos
Neil Magny:
His win over Zaleski dos Santos snapped his two-fight losing skid after dropping two first- round knockouts to Michael Morales and Carlos Prates. It was also his first victory since January 2024 at UFC 297, where he upset Mike Malott by third round TKO.
He is now tied at second place for most wins in UFC history at 23 since joining the organization in 2013.
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos:
His knockout loss to Magny marked his second consecutive defeat after previously losing to Chidi Njokuani this past March. Coincidentally, both matches ended in the second round.
He is now 1-3-1 in his past five bouts.
UFC Vegas 108: Karol Rosa def. Nora Cornolle
Karol Rosa:
Her win over Cornolle at UFC Vegas 108 brought her back into the winner’s circle after losing to Ailin Pérez this past January at UFC 311. Her 11 minutes and 25 seconds of control time is the most she has accrued in her entire UFC career. The victory was her 13th by decision since turning pro.
Nora Cornolle:
Her defeat to Rosa served as her third career loss, with all of them coming by way of the judges’ scorecards. She has now both won and lost a fight this year after besting Hailey Cowan at UFC 314 back in April. She is now 3-2 in her stint with the promotion.
UFC Vegas 108: Esteban Ribovics def. Elves Brener
Esteban Ribovics:
His win over Brener puts him into the win column after losing to Nasrat Haqparast this past March at UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev. His encounter with Brener was his fourth match in the company in which he delivered over 100 significant strikes. In addition, Ribovics’ victory over Brener saw him earn a Fight of the Night Bonus, his third straight post-fight award.
Elves Brener:
Bremer’s loss to Ribovics is his third straight defeat. His taking of Ribovics’ 122 significant blows marked the most he has absorbed in a UFC contest. His 118 significant hits delivered was the most he has ever logged inside the Octagon.
UFC Vegas 108: Chris Duncan def. Mateusz Rębecki
Chris Duncan:
Duncan’s win over Rębecki was his third in succession after being submitted by Manuel Torres back in 2024 at UFC Fight Night: Moreno vs. Royval 2. He is now 5-1 in his last six trips to the cage. His triumph over Rębecki saw the Scot take home his first Fight of the Night award, making it his second promotional bonus overall.
Mateusz Rębecki:
His loss to Duncan served as just the third loss of his more than 20-bout professional career. It was also the first time that he lost a match by decision. The defeat netted the Pole his second Fight of the Night bonus in a row.
UFC Vegas 108: Tatsuro Taira def. Hyun-sung Park
Tatsuro Taira:
Taira’s UFC Vegas 108 win over Park moved him back into the winner’s ranks after losing a hard-fought split decision to Brandon Royval last October. His pairing with Park marked the first time he had shared the cage with an undefeated fighter since competing in his second professional fight back in 2018.
His tapout of the South Korean marked his eight career victory by submission.
Hyun-sung Park:
His loss to Taira spelled the end to his unbeaten record spanning 11 bouts. His three significant strikes landed was the least amount of hits he has landed in a UFC contest.
Park’s dust-up with Taira was also the third time in his tenure with the organization that he was knocked down in a scrap.
