MMASucka UFC Vegas 110 Staff Picks: Featherweight Strikers Come To Blows

The UFC Apex in Enterprise, NV will be rocking for UFC Vegas 110, when the hard-hitting Steve Garcia comes to blows with kickboxing specialist David Onama in a highly-anticipated featherweight clash. In the UFC Vegas 110 co-main event, Waldo Cortes-Acosta seeks to get back into the win column by toppling newly-minted top-10 contender Ante Delija.

UFC Vegas 110 Main Event

Since making his return to the 145-lb division in late 2022, Garcia has recorded a lengthy win streak ahead of UFC Vegas 110, totaling five in a row in the weight class, as well as a one-fight trip to lightweight, where he starched the equally streaking Melquizael Costa. Now firmly nestled into the featherweight elite, “Mean Machine” hopes to continue his ascent towards UFC gold with another emphatic performance in UFC Vegas 110.

Undefeated in his last four contests, Onama earned his place in the top-15 after taking out famed Georgian contender Giga Chikadze back in April. Gaining a bit of notoriety from the triumph, “Silent Assassin” prepares to go to war in UFC Vegas 110 with the hardest-hitting name he has come across in his career to date.

UFC Vegas 110 Co-Main Event

In comparison to his other elite heavyweight contemporaries, Cortes-Acosta has been quite active this year, making three previous appearances in the cage over the span of five months ahead of UFC Vegas 110. Accepting his fourth assignment of 2025, “Salsa Boy” hopes to get back on track as a future candidate for a title shot with a splendid performance on Saturday.

Blitzing his way into the best of the best at 265-lb, Delija positively annihilated company luminary Marcin Tybura in his debut scrap last month at UFC Paris, avenging a previous loss to the Pole back in 2015 during the pair’s regional days. Residing at number nine in the rankings, “Walking Trouble” is easily one of the more experienced athletes in the division with over 30 fights, having fought under banners like KSW and the PFL.

More Bouts On the UFC Vegas 110 Main Card

Rounding out the UFC Vegas 110 main card, Welterweight prospects Jeremiah Wells and Themba Gorimbo lock horns. Then, featherweight up-and-comer Isaac Dulgarian tests himself against Yadier del Valle. Also, Charles Radtke meets Daniel Frunza. Finally, Allan Nascimento comes to blows with Cody Durden, with likely ranking implications on the line.

UFC Vegas 110 Predictions and Staff Picks

MMASucka staff picks are composed of four of the world’s leading mixed martial arts organizations: the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the Professional Fighters League (PFL), ONE Championship (ONE FC), and Dana White’s Contender Series (DWCS).

  • UFC picks will include main card fights ranging from four to six matchups per event.
  • PFL picks from main cards for pay-per-views and from tournament fights in the Regular Season, Playoffs, and Finals.
  • ONE FC and DWCS picks will feature all MMA fights from the event with a minimum of three matchups.

The individual who picks the most victorious fighters by the end of 2025 will have a choice between receiving a custom-made championship belt from ProAmBelts or a detailed chain from Championship Chains. Staff picks in 2023 were won by Ben Jamieson with a record of 300-148.
