Urijah Faber wants to fight Renan Barao for interim title

Yesterday news broke that Dominick Cruz had been forced to withdraw from his UFC 148 main event bout with Urijah Faber due to injury. It was later revealed that he tore his ACL while training.

Urijah Faber was quick to respond and does still want to fight on the UFC 148 card. Faber had this to say via his twitter account.

Sucks about @TheDomin8r hope recovers fast! Sounds like 9 months aftr surgery @RenanBaraoUFC seems like the best replacement! @danawhite

Not only did he go to twitter, but he took to his website as well and released the video below.

Renan Barao is already scheduled to fight on the UFC 148 card against Ivan Menjivar. Another name that could be thrown into the mix is Michael McDonald, who is coming off a KO victory over former Bantamweight champion Miguel Torres at UFC 145.
