Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 5 Results

Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat has returned to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Wheatland, California to host A1 Combat 5: Reed vs Creighton. Tonight’s event includes a hefty amount of action-packed fights that’ll end with a championship bout in A1 Combat’s welterweight division.

The main draw this evening is between two of the best welterweights in California’s regional scene. However Lamar Reed (9-5-0) and Jeff Creighton (5-2-0) aren’t only fighting for regional rankings, they’re here to determine who the first welterweight champion is in Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. Coming off a first round submission victory in A1 Combat’s inaugural event, Reed was the perfect fighter to call up for the first crack at the belt. With 10 years of fight experience as a pro, the 33 year old plans to use every bit off that advantage when he fights for the title tonight. Jeff Creighton has a hefty amount of experience himself for a 26 year old. The young fighter spent almost half of his 8-year career as an amateur amassing a record of 7-3. Despite not having a single submission victory in his amateur career, Creighton has finished all 5 of his wins by way of submission. Look out for his slick ground game tonight as he looks to win the belt in his A1 Combat debut.

The first half of the co-main features a true veteran of the sport in Jeremiah Labiano (13-9-0). Early in his career, Labiano fought against some UFC caliber opponents such Trevin Giles and Ricky Simón and even has a win against Tyson Nam back in 2014. On the other hand, Keith Lee (7-5-0) has had much more recent high-level competition. With back-to-back losses against Raufeon Stots and Jornel Lugo, Lee plans on using everything he’s learned from his Bellator experience when he fights against Labiano in an exciting featherweight clash.

There’s plenty of talent throughout the entire night as many fighters look to progress in their very young fight careers. Team Alpha Male’s Eimar Hernandez (3-0-0) looks for his second victory for A1 Combat against fellow undefeated fighter Edwin de los Santos (2-0-0). Terrance Saeturn (1-0-0) is back after a highlight real knockout earlier this year. Lastly, an unexpected rematch between Gino Vega (1-1-0) and last minute replacement Allen Silhanek (3-1-0) should make for an intriguing preliminary fight.

MMA Sucka will have live coverage on Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 5. Starting with the preliminary card 8pm ET/5pm PT on A1 Combat’s YouTube Channel. Followed by the main card at 10pm ET/7pm PT on UFC Fight Pass.
