The Super Fight League, one of India’s premier Mixed Martial Arts promotions, is set to invade Mumbai once again with its 9th installment. SFL 9 will carry a total of 7 bouts on its fight card, and will be a part of the ‘Friday Night Fight Nights’ initiative that was launched earlier this month.

The featured attraction of the night pits a battle between two promotional newcomers in Vasily Klepikov and Goran Reljic. The latter fighter had a disappointing run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, going 1-3 in his 4-fight stint. Reljic, 28, however, rebounded with 3 consecutive wins in the regional circuit and looks set to get his career back on track.
Klepikov, though, is no slouch. The Ukrainian has competed mostly in M1-Global’s events and is currently riding on a 2-fight win streak. The 24-year-old is 4-1 in his past 5 fights with the lone setback coming against Visampasha Mirzakhanov at M-1 Ukraine’s Superfinal Grand Prix.
